Get ready for a shake-up in the jungle! Vogue Williams, the charismatic podcast queen and TV personality, is about to brave the wilds of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! But prepare yourselves, because this isn't just another celebrity signing – it's a test of resilience, pushing her far beyond her comfort zone.
Confirmed as a late entry into the 2025 season (the show's landmark 25th!), Vogue will be gracing our screens in tomorrow night's episode. The rumors have been swirling, and now it's official: Vogue Williams is heading Down Under to face her fears. And she's not alone; TV personality Tom Read Wilson will also be joining the camp as a latecomer.
For those unfamiliar, I’m A Celebrity throws famous faces into the heart of the Australian Outback, where they compete in grueling challenges for food and the chance to earn luxury items. This season already boasts a star-studded cast, including actor Martin Kemp, model and radio DJ Kelly Brook, and Jack Osbourne, son of the legendary Ozzy Osbourne. But here's where it gets controversial...some viewers question whether these 'luxury' items are really that luxurious, given the harsh conditions. What do you think?
So, why would someone like Vogue, seemingly living the high life, voluntarily subject herself to bugs, hunger, and sleep deprivation? She admits she's become "too comfortable" and craves the challenge of stepping outside her well-manicured bubble. And this is the part most people miss...it's not about the fame, but about personal growth.
But don't think it'll be a walk in the park. Vogue anticipates a serious struggle, particularly with being separated from her three children for an extended period. "I have never been away this long before, and I spend such a huge amount of time with them. It will be my biggest struggle," she confessed. Beyond her family, she'll also sorely miss her pillows, sleep mask, and, of course, her phone – everyday comforts that will be replaced by the less-than-glamorous reality of the jungle.
Adding to the challenge, Vogue readily admits to having a phobia of "everything," especially insects. Imagine swapping your luxurious home for a bug-infested camp! Yet, she also reveals a competitive streak that she hopes will help her conquer the infamous trials. Will her competitive spirit be enough to overcome her fears?
Interestingly, Vogue's husband, Spencer Matthews, is no stranger to the I'm A Celebrity experience. He participated in the 2015 series but was ultimately removed after admitting to using steroids while in the jungle. A stark reminder that the jungle doesn't discriminate! Vogue says Spencer is "excited" to see her on the show, perhaps offering a bit of inside intel on what she's about to face.
But here's where it gets interesting: Vogue insists she's not in it to win it. "I didn't say 'yes' to win; I said 'yes' to go," she stated. This suggests a focus on the experience itself, rather than the competitive aspect. Is this genuine humility, or a clever strategy to lower expectations?
Vogue, 40, is widely recognized for her hugely successful podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, co-hosted with comedian Joanne McNally. She's also a seasoned TV personality, having recently auditioned for the hosting role on The Traitors Ireland, which ultimately went to Siobhán McSweeney. So, she obviously is a seasoned professional.
The current season of I'm A Celebrity kicked off on Sunday and airs nightly at 9 pm. While the typical series runs for about three weeks, ITV has yet to announce an official end date. It will be interesting to see if the arrival of Vogue and Tom will spice things up enough to extend the season.
So, what do you think? Will Vogue's competitive spirit outweigh her fears? Can she survive the jungle without her phone and sleep mask? And most importantly, do you think she's genuinely not in it to win, or is there a hidden agenda? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
