That night, Sass apologizes in a Bob Ross–style dream, seeking forgiveness. Eric admits the idea of Bela being fixated on ghosts doesn’t sit well with him. Yet Sass argues that, unlike Bela, Eric is alive and free to pursue what he wants. The conversation reframes love as an opportunity rather than a trap, and a bridge forms between forgiveness and honesty.
Back at the restaurant, Jay and Bela share a candid moment. Bela admits fear of starting over and losing her trajectory, but Jay notices she never explicitly says she loves Eric or wants their shared future.
