A major water crisis hit Dublin's north inner city, leaving thousands without water. But here's the twist: it wasn't just a minor leak.
The issue stemmed from a massive water main burst, causing a significant disruption to the city's water supply. Uisce Éireann, the water utility company, sprang into action, with crews working tirelessly overnight to fix the problem.

"It's a complex process," explained an Uisce Éireann spokesperson. "Once repairs are complete, it can take up to four hours for water to reach all areas and restore normal pressure."
Keith Conmy, from Uisce Éireann, assured customers that they were doing everything possible to restore water supply quickly. He acknowledged the inconvenience, especially with an unexpected outage, and thanked customers for their patience.
"This was a significant burst, and it will take time to complete the repairs," Conmy emphasized.
